My goal with this blog was to share pieces of my organizing journey with you. Life gets in the way though sometimes, doesn’t it? Staying organized helps me to feel more put together. It helps me to focus on the disease that I continue to struggle with each day. When I saw my doctor, she told me that it could take up to two years before I truly start to feel better. It seems like a long time, but I am already four months into my journey. I continue to work toward my ultimate goal of feeling better.

One of the things that I have done recently is to combine all of my calendars into one. I had a wall calendar at home, a desk calendar at home, a desk calendar at school, and a calendar in my purse. I would make an appointment or have an event, and I was adding it to each of the four calendars. At that point, I decided that enough was enough. Too many calendars, and too little time.

So, I scrapped them…

All of them…

At this point, panic should ensue, but it didn’t…

I felt liberated from all the muss, and fuss that I had created for myself.

However, I am not one that can just live day by day. I’m a planner. I have to see what’s ahead of me.

With that in mind, I created one calendar for home, and work.

I found a calendar that I liked online and printed it out to fit the notebook that I purchased. Target score; on clearance for…$2.95! Yeah! I love myself a Target score! I added 2015 by cutting out vinyl numbers on my Silhouette. I can then change it out next year.

My calendar is a daily version. It was created by Whitney English, and I acquired it online, here. It allows me to keep track of the top three things to get done for each day, and my daily meetings, and appointments. On the to-do list side, I keep track of my lesson plans, and to-do’s for school. It allows me to see the whole picture, for each day, which I like.

I’m glad that I made the switch to one calendar. It has certainly simplified things in my life.
