Repurposing Old Tissue Containers

Repurposing items is something that I frequently do. I am often looking for ways to use things in another way or to breathe new life into them.

In a previous post, I talked about items that I use for organizational storage. For example, I took a craft cart that I had used before I had my office studio and repurposed into jewelry storage.

Today, I’m going to talk about how I repurposed round tissue containers. I found the containers at Target and purchased them to use in my car. They fit inside my center console without taking up too much space.

Once I was done using them, I liked the patterns on them so much that I decided to keep them to repurpose them for other things.

I use them for pencils, paint brushes, and plastic bags. However, you could also store small tools,  cords, makeup brushes, rolls of washi, and vinyl scraps. There are so many possibilities.

If I tire of the pattern, I can recover them with some pretty paper, contact paper, or vinyl. It hasn’t come to that yet. Until then, I’m going to keep using the containers as is.

Until next time,
