Using my planner is an important part of my routine. If you follow my blog, you know that I have a small bit of a planner obsession. I think that I’ve finally nailed it, though. This planner has outlasted any of the previous versions that I have used. I also have another way that I go about planning my day. Let the planning begin!
Many planners have pages that I don’t utilize. I also find it difficult to find something that meets my needs in that department. I gave much thought about what I wanted in a planner. It needed to have a spot for appointments or meetings, to-do’s, notes, and inspiration. I quickly realized that if I wanted those things, I would have to create my own.
I found a weekly calendar that I liked on Etsy. It’s not dated, but I like the option of adding the dates myself so I could continue to use it for years to come. I put it to use in a disc bound notebook that I found at Staples. The smaller size makes it easy to slip in my purse. I use this planner for both personal and work meetings or appointments. I have found that it’s easier for me to keep things all in one place.
To help in planning my day, I created a printable daily planner that I use in conjunction with my weekly calendar. This is helpful during the summer when I work from home and don’t have a regimented schedule. This planner allows me to add things that I need to do that day, my meal plan, exercise, and my daily water intake. There is also a place for daily inspiration. I include someone or something that inspires me, or a quote for the day.
You can access and print the daily planner here. Happy planning!
Until next time,
